These tools are used by dyemakers in their trade.

Components. The dyer's tools consist of a bucket with a spigot and attachable screw press, several strips of linen, a silk cloth for straining, flasks of various compounds including alkali, vinegar, and soda ash, and 4 8 oz. corked glass bottles. Everything packs together into the bucket for ease of carry while traveling.

Arcana. Your knowledge of pigments aids you in identifying magical scripts from the rare pigments used to create them.

History, Persuasion, Deception. The flaunting of rare and expensive dyed fabrics has always been associated with wealth and nobility, allowing you insight into the dealings of the upper class.

Camouflage. With an hour of work and access to local materials, you can modify a cloak or set of clothing by dyeing it to match the local environment. While a creature wears this modified item, they have advantage on Stealth checks made to hide in that environment.
