Dragonbane (3.5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Dragonbane is a rare material that can be mined in chance mountains. It is named for its curious ability to affect dragonhide, ripping through the scales with seeming ease. Because of the obvious intended use of dragonbane for fighting these impressive beasts, weapons made from it are always of masterwork quality; the masterwork cost is included in the prices given below. This also means that weapons and ammunition fashioned from dragonbane have a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls, in addition to the attack bonuses against dragons and dragonhide specified below.
Only weapons that deal piercing or slashing damage can be fashioned from dragonbane. Weapons normally that are made of dragonbane have one-fourth less hit points than normal. Dragonbane has 5 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10.
