Dragon Half Plate (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Armor (half plate), very rare (requires attunement) Dragon half plate is made of metal and scales of a dragon. It is said that to make the armor you either need to be gifted the cast-off scales of friendly dragons or seek out a dragon hunter to kill, then skin and preserve the hide of a dead dragon to make this armor. In either case, dragon half plate is highly valued piece of equipment. While you wear this armor, you have a +1 bonus to your AC, and advantage on saving throws against the frightful presence and breath weapons of dragons. In addition, while worn the armor grants resistance to a damage type, determined by the dragon type that provided the scales for the armor. Dragon Sense. As an action, you can focus your senses to magically discern the distance and direction of the closest dragon within 30 miles of you that is of the same type as the armor. Once this property has been used, it can't be used again until the next dawn. |
