Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of THE DRAGON´S HEIR
Spellcasting: At each level you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one arcane spellcasting class before becoming THE DRAGON´S HEIR, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.
DRAGON FAMILIAR: When acquiring a new familiar, you can choose a wyrmling dragon. See Dragons as Familiars, page 141 of Draconomicon, for more information. A sorcerer can obtain a familiar. Doing so takes 24 hours and uses up magical materials that cost 100 gp. A familiar is a magical beast that resembles a small animal and is unusually tough and intelligent. The creature serves as a companion and servant. The sorcerer chooses the kind of familiar he gets. As the sorcerer advances in level, his familiar also increases in power. If the familiar dies or is dismissed by the sorcerer, the sorcerer must attempt a DC 15 Fortitude saving throw. Failure means he loses 200 experience points per sorcerer level; success reduces the loss to one-half that amount. However, a sorcerer's experience point total can never go below 0 as the result of a familiar's demise or dismissal. A slain or dismissed familiar cannot be replaced for a year and day. A slain familiar can be raised from the dead just as a character can be, and it does not lose a level or a Constitution point when this happy event occurs. A character with more than one class that grants a familiar may have only one familiar at a time.
DRAGON´S TONGUE:At 2nd level, a Dragon's Heir receives an inherit bonus +2 to his Charisma ability score. This bonus increases to +4 at 7th level
DRACONIC SENSES:At 3rd level a Dragon's Heir receives Draconic Senses. You gain low-light vision and a bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks equal to the number of draconic feats you have. If you have three or more draconic feats, you also gain darkvision out to 60 feet. If you have four or more draconic feats, you also gain blindsense out to 20 feet.
IMPROVED BREATH WEAPON:: At 3rd level, the breath weapon of a Dragon's Heir grows more powerful. When you use your Draconic Breath, you add +1D6 to the damage that comes from the sacrificed spell slot. At 6th level, this bonus becomes +2D6 and at 9th level the bonus rises to +3D6.
DRACONIC TOUGHNESS:: At 4th level a Dragon's Heir gain 2 hit points for each draconic feat he has, including this one. Whenever he takes a new draconic feat, he gains 2 more hit points.
DRAGON CASTER -10%:At 5th level, the arcane resilience of a Dragon's Heir grows more stronger. He may ignore 10% of arcane spell failure while wearing a light armor. At 10th level, he may ignore 20% of arcane spell failure while wearing a medium armor.
IMMUNITY TO DRAGONFEAR:At 5th level, THE DRAGON HEIR´S blood becomes more powerful and he gains immunity to the frightful prescence of a dragon.
DRACONIC RESISTANCE:At 6th level, a Dragon's Heir's bloodline hardens his body against effects related to the nature of his progenitor. He gains resistance to the energy type associated with his draconic heritage equal to three times the number of draconic feats he has, including draconic feats he takes after gaining this feat.
DRACONIC KNOWLEDGE:At 8th level Dragon's Heir's draconic blood lets him access ancient draconic knowledge. He gains a bonus on Knowledge checks equal to the number of draconic feats he has. All Knowledge skills are class skills for all his classes.
DRACONIC PRESENCE:At 8th level, when Dragon's Heir uses his magic, his mere presence can terrify those around him. Whenever he casts an arcane spell, opponents within 10 feet of and with fewer Hit Dice than him become shaken for a number of rounds equal to the level of the spell he just cast. A Will save (DC 10 + level of the spell cast + Cha modifier) negates the effect. A successful save indicates that the opponent is immune to his draconic presence for 24 hours. This ability does not affect creatures with an Intelligence of 3 or lower or creatures that are already shaken, nor does it have any effect on dragons.
DRACONIC VIGOR:: At 10th level, whenever Dragon's Heir casts an arcane spell, he heals a number of points of damage equal to the spell's level.
