Tiefling Variant[edit]

It is widely known that tieflings always breed true due to the strength of the fiendish bloodline. However, demons and devils are not the only creatures of magical origin who have mixed their family lines with the humanoids of the material plane, and if there is one creature strong enough, greedy enough, or just plain possessive enough to muscle into a fiendish bloodline, it would be dragons.

  • Instead of a +1 to Intelligence, you gain +1 to one ability score of your choice.
  • Your Hellish Resistance is replaced by Draconic Ancestry.
  • Your Infernal Legacy is replaced by Arcane Dominance.

Draconic Ancestry. You have inherited the resilience of your draconic ancestor. The type of dragon you are descended from determines the resistance you have.

Dragon Type Resistance
Black Acid
Blue Lightning
Brass Fire
Bronze Lightning
Copper Acid
Gold Fire
Green Poison
Red Fire
Silver Cold
White Cold

Arcane Dominance. You know a cantrip from the sorcerer spell list that does damage of the same kind as your Draconic Ancestry. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the fear spell once a day without components, and your regain the ability after a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
