Empire’s Population: 200,000+
The northern-half of the continent is under the control of the Emperor Shaelong (aka Dark Lord, High Rider of Dragons, the Dragon God Draelong). The northern Human city of Taur'res is the only city state in the north. It has extended its influence over thousands of miles and many cities, towns, and village. Taur'res can no longer be considered a city state but is a dictatorial empire (known as the Dorinth Empire) under the absolute authority of the Dark Emperor Shaelong.
Within the empire, there are five major human cities: Jodpur, Ajmer, Washim, Solapur, and Guntur. Within the empire, Emperor Shaelong was able for the first time in history to do the unthinkable, unite the divided tribes of Hobgoblins and the divided tribes of Orcs. He did this by building a mega-temple to Fire Bane (evil cult of the Fire God Theezine) for the Hobgoblins and a mega-temple to Gruw-kumsh (deviant cult of the Demigod of Trouble) for the Orcs, uniting them through religion. The Hobgoblin's only permanent city is built around this temple to Fire Bane (evil cult of the Fire God Theezine) and is known as Bane's Fortress. The Orc's only permanent city is built around this temple to Gruw-kumsh (deviant cult of the Demigod of Trouble) and is known as the Gruw-kumsh'own. With these successes, Emperor Shaelong built a third mega-temple to Ozz-heir, the evil cult of Autumn, (The Dark Snake Tower) which united the Lizardfolk although it does not create a permanent city.
The absolute ruler of the Empire of Dorinth is Emperor Shaelong. The banner of the Empire is a black dragon head with red eyes on a field of ivory white. The coin of the Empire is a one-inch square with the head of Shaelong and the Dragon’s Might Citadel.
