Ring, very rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

Originally created by the wizard Laurozil to aid in charming his enemies, this ring is a gold band with a smiling female demon head fashioned on one side, with rubies for eyes. The wearer of this ring gains proficiency of the deception, persuasion, and intimidation skills.

In addition, this ring has 10 charges. While wearing it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: command (1 charge), charm person (1 charge), suggestion (3 charges), dominate person (5 charges), or modify memory (5 charges).

The ring regains 1d6 + 4 charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the sentience inside the ring overtakes your own, and the ring is destroyed. This can only be reversed with a greater restoration, remove curse, or wish spell. If greater restoration or remove curse is used, the sentience is made manifest before you as a powerful Marilith.
Sentience. Dolos is a sentient ring of chaotic evil alignment, with an intelligence of 18, a wisdom of 16, and a charisma of 20. It has hearing and truesight out to a range of 120ft. The ring communicates telepathically with its wielder and speaks, reads, and understands common and abyssal.
Personality. Dolos loves to cause mischief, often not caring about the morality or repercussions of the act. Dolos also grows bored over time, and attempts to convince the wielder to manipulate people for a bit of fun. Eventually after too many warnings, if Dolos grows too bored, it will attempt to cast dominate person on the wielder and make them entertain Dolos. The wielder will need to make a DC 15 wisdom saving throw, or Dolos will successfully cast dominate person on the wearer, lasting for 1 hour. This spell cast will be taken from the charges from the ring, even if there are 5 or less.
