Divine Domains (Duality&Dice 5e Homebrew)
From D&D Wiki
A part of the Duality&Dice 5e Homebrew.
Divine Domains[edit]
Divine power, blessed to the palm of your hands. As an Awakened, you gain this power when reaching low tier godhood (10th Level :p). While this power is strong, there are some limitations.
Exhaustion[edit]
Who would've thought calling from Divine power could weaken the Mortal body. After using your Divine Domain, you will gain 1 stack of Exhaustion. This Exhaustion cannot be removed by normal means. At the start of each of your turns, you can attempt a Constitution Saving Throw DC 120 to remove the Exhaustion. Otherwise it is only removed after a long rest.
No Clashing[edit]
You are not Gojo, and you ain't overpowering another domain. Unlike that series, Divine Domains are actual pocket dimensions, no barrier. Within a Divine Domain, the access to other Divine Domains are cut off. Therefore you cannot use a Divine Domain in a Divine Domain, and you can't counteract a Divine Domain with a Divine Domain.
Awakened Vs. Gods[edit]
When an Awakened uses a Divine Domain, it is just a portion of power for them to gain an advantage in a fight. Meanwhile Gods usually have their living quarters as their Divine Domains, the setting based around their powers and personalities. Therefore a Divine Domain from a God, generally won't be lethal in any capacity, however there are exceptions. Furthermore a God's Divine Domain is incredibly resilient, all objects within these domains have 50x more health than normal.
