Discussion talk:What are some good mounts for an Illithid Paladin?

How about an ooze? I remember somewhere that they have this kind of "bubble" they travel in and the ooze can't sense them. I mean, you could scale down the size and whatnot and the strength of the ooze would be overcome by the fact the illithid couldnt do any attacks, as the acid would dissolve any ranged attacks and if he left the ooze, it would think he was food and attack. Not perfect, but a start.
