Where are winged elves mentioned in 3.5e dnd?[edit]

I have a program at home called hero forge, its used for making dnd characters and my addition at least is for 3.5e characters only. It has winged elves as one of the playable races (LA +4). I have never seen winged elves in a 3.5e dnd book before. Now mind you, there are some where around 50 3.5e dnd books and I have only seen a small portion, so I was wondering if you guys have seen them anywhere?

Well, there are the Avarial in Races of Faerun, which are also known as 'Winged Elves'. They're a LA +3 race, so I'm not so sure that's the exact race hero forge is listing, but that would be the official race.

Ok, thanks. I may have read it wrong and it was a 4 ECL, making the LA +3.
