So, with One D&D (the 2024 rules) in the process of being released - with the 2024 Monster Manual coming out next month - I do want to ask how the D&D Wiki will be handling it. Would it be considered 5.5e (like how 3.5e is to 3e) or something else?
...At least porting 5e races and backgrounds to One D&D would be somewhat simple - just removing the ASI from the races, and granting three abilities scores that could either get +1/+1/+1 or +2/+1/+0 to them as the ASI for backgrounds.

Homebrew for D&D (2024) will be categorized as 5.5e Homebrew, but I believe we're waiting to fully roll it out until SRD 5.2, which will be released some time in February. The conversation can be seen here.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if it had been mentioned, but at least I now know about it and how it'll be known as 5.5e - which does fit how 2.5 and 3.5 were like.
