I've been working on a homebrew class that uses the mechanics of the Warlock but it specializes in weapon-based combat. I've made a few homebrew eldritch invocations for this class, but I'm unsure as to their balance. If anyone could give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down with an explanation for each invocation, that'd be great. I know that several of these are just copies of other class features.
Boomeranged Weapon
No Prerequisites
Choose one specific melee weapon that you have in your possession. This weapon now has the thrown (20/60) property. When you throw this weapon, it will return back to your hand. You may later choose a new weapon to give this ability, but the previous weapon that had this ability will no longer be a boomeranged weapon.
Counter
Prerequisite: 5th level
As a reaction to taking damage from a melee attack, you may make a melee attack against the initial attacker. On a hit, you deal the same amount of damage that you took initially back at the attacker. The damage type of your attack is based on the weapon you used. You must complete a short or long rest before using this invocation again.
Goblin Nimbleness
Prerequisite: 5th level
You can now take the Disengage action as a bonus action.
Assassin's Speed
Prerequisite: 5th level
You can now take the Dash action as a bonus action.
Quickling Quickness
Prerequisite: 7th level
When you are subjected to an effect that forces you to make a Dexterity Saving Throw to only take half damage, you instead take no damage on a success and half damage on a failure.
Strengthened Sanity
Prerequisite: 7th level
As an action, you can end an effect that is causing you to be frightened or charmed.
Half of Halfling's Luck
Prerequisite: 9th level
You can choose to reroll a saving throw that you failed. You must use this new roll. You cannot use this invocation again until you have completed a long rest.

Boomerang, see returning on magical weapons, I'd add prereq 5th level. probably more balance but not a warlock expert
Counter-seems fair.
Goblin stuff-cool, I like it
assassin speed-cool
- I'd combine the above too, and give a new different name
Quickling thing-again, okay, not bad but are you trying to throw rogue features on your 'lock? I don't think I am cool with that being done this way.
same with last two, just other class features. I'll say they are balanced but...sigh..I enjoy more unique and different than we have stuff

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll see if I can come up with some more unique abilities.
