Can someone please change the name to "The Last King of Avis" Today I will be telling you of a story of "The Last King" and it all starts with one of my "brothers" running a campaign with me,my other brother, I will be calling fuzz and his wife witch I will be calling cam, and we are doing a heavily based dungeon campaign and what he though that it can get boring just fighting then loot, etc, etc. So he spiced things up and added "lore" that in my opinion is awesome because we fight for an organization called the "slayers" that we thought were the "good guys" because they get "heroes" like us to stand up and try to take a planet that they purposely left abandoned so it could regrow because the current planet we were on was dying because of low resources and me being a person with a ideal of "duty" wanted to help so we get sent to the planet and fight a mini-boss, us with 80 men fight this boss and our troops get Destroyed but not before destroying its armor then, a ooze appears out of armor and grows to the "huge" size tearing though our men, managing to kill it with only 10 to 15 men left. After that fight we decided to take all of those men and grouped them up into teams 1 ten year old decides to join fuzz team, another bell (DM controlled NPC) gets like 5 of them and the rest go independent leaving me and cam left with non but i'm fine with that so I went, with cam and went out "exploring" for lore while she collected a slime, search through houses I find a worn journal telling what happen to this planet and i'm gonna tell you the summary but it was saying "everyone was thrilled to leave before the common folk found out that only people of nobility can come." After that, we headed to the castle. upon entrance there was no sign of hostility yet, then we decided to head to the left hallway and found a "black slime" that managed to collect 3 of our party members but lowered it HP to I think 1 to 28 so it ran but I managed to roll good to shoot it with a fire bolt burning in the process but saving our 3 party members and then we backed off and headed to the right hallway and then we found another lore Room but stupidly did not check for traps so we nearly died by the trap but learned more lore by portraits one man assumed to be the youngest was a human with a armor similar to the slime we killed in the lower village, the king with a crown and is a black male,the oldest brother that was a Goliath in black clothing foot on a fresh dragon skull, the middle sister a princess that has books studying with a majestic robe, and the queen a elvish druid like elf. Now we decide to rest because of the slime and then we all hear a beautiful sound so cam shape shifts into a rat and looks at the person who was singing and it was similar to the elves queen then she stepped into a painting before a tall women with a huge unnatural smile barely recognizing her as she floated up stairs had I should have mention she had a robe similar to the one in her portrait. After that encounter we decided to follow her up the stairs into the tallest point of the tower, finding her at a alchemy station making potions with scrolls and paper littered on the floor, feeling our presents her head did a 180 looking at us rapidly making a brew of potions, throwing the potion at us, only me and cam passed saying "YOU HAVE KILLED MY BROTHER! *staring at the spear we took of her brothers* nonetheless I will kill you, come and find me, todoluz!" as a purple slime replaced her but the slime was rather shy and in the name of research we managed to capture and keep it, looking around I noticed in the amount of scrolls and paper a diary that told lore, saying that "Dad and some slayers were talking and she could not hear much but could only hear when he said "NEVER RETURN TO THE CASTLE EVER AGAIN!" upon hearing about how only nobility can come and not common folk." After collecting the journal we went downstairs and found a ballroom with the wizard their, I being lore hungry as ever I pressed her about personal questions, getting angry by that then she notice cam look familiar so she brought cam closer saying "you look familiar, no it is not you." bringing her back to where we were only getting mad at that she snapped her finger and a row of violins started playing and with another snap she summoned an ancient tome and flipped through the book and casted 3 spell in one turn, in return our NPC controlled wizard used her magical tattoo and casted lvl 5 magic missile being blocked by her minion slime, my turn rolls around and I cast level 1 chromatic orb, her, in return casted counterspell on both me and cam, cam from casting flaming sphere, our wizard tired of this casted flaming sphere domed her in the head, kicking her to her 2nd phase as hundreds of slime topple over her making her a humongous slime, swallowing everyone besides me,shade, (the 10 year old) Elly and fuzzy out of the 8 members we had, then it turns back to my turn and I cast chromatic orb 2nd level and given that going inside of her 10x your damage along with the 3x times you get for not penetrating the inside and I managed to hit her dealing 490 fire damage killing her within the 3rd round, as she shrunk we collected her and she dropped her tome and her robes I took the tomb and our wizard the robes. Upon opening the tome we see a vision of the top slayer casting the Disintegration spell on the queen saying "IF YOUR NOT WITH ME,YOUR AGAINST ME!", the vision ending as the king took up his sword charging the slayer. Moving on we decided to head to the basement where the oldest dwells. TO BE CONTINUED......
