The Determination class embodies the essence of unwavering resolve and indomitable spirit. Characters who pursue this path harness the power of their sheer determination to achieve feats that defy conventional limits. Whether through sheer force of will, boundless courage, or unyielding perseverance, Determination adventurers leave an indelible mark on the world around them.

Making a Determination[edit]

Abilities: The most important attributes for this class are Constitution and Wisdom, reflecting their physical endurance and mental fortitude.

Races: Any

Alignment: Any

Starting Gold: 1d12x10 gp.

Starting Age: The normal age for this class should be Moderate (such as a fighter). This is so the character has had time to learn to control their abilities to the extent that they would be proficient in their use. Alternatively, a character may be younger if they are naturally talented, and may apply the simple age modifier (such as a rogue).

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Determination .

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: There proficient in All Types Of Armor and can use any weapon


Strength of Will (Ex): This feature grants the Determination character a +2 bonus to Will checks, reflecting their unwavering resolve and mental fortitude.


Refuse (Su): Once per day at 5th Level, when the Determination character's hit points reach 0 or less, they automatically return to 1 hit point. At level 10, this ability can be used twice per day, at level 15 This Ability Can Be Used Three Times Per Day, At Level 20 This Can Be Used 4 Times Per Day.


<-Reset-> (Su): Once per Week at 1st level, 2 Times per Week at 5th, and 3 times per Week at 10nth, 4 times per week at 15th level, and 5 times per week at 20th level. when you die, instead of dying after the encounter is over, you come back with 1 hit point.


Enduring Spirit (Ex): at 5th Level The character gains temporary hit points equal to their Will Save at the start of each encounter. These temporary hit points last until the end of the encounter.


Fortified Spirit (Su): At 6th level, the character's determination Allows Them To Add Half There Will Save Rounded Down To There ac As a Passive However This Passive Cannot Stack With Armor


Indomitable Resilience (Su): At 7th level, the character gains bonus hit points equal to their Will save modifier.


Determination Weapon Manifestation (Ex): Starting at 3rd level, the Determination character can manifest a weapon made of pure determination, channeling their unwavering resolve into a tangible form of offense. They can choose between a Determination Knife or a Determination Sword. The Determination Knife lasts for 3 minutes and deals 1d6 piercing damage. The Determination Sword lasts for 2 minutes and deals 1d8 slashing damage. The character can maintain concentration to sustain the manifestation, and they can dismiss it as a bonus action.


Vengeance (Su): Starting at 12th level, whenever the Determination character dies in an encounter and uses the "Reset" ability to return to 1 hit point, they gain a +3 bonus to all attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks made against the opponent that delivered the killing blow. This bonus lasts until the end of the encounter and stacks each time the character is resurrected by the "Reset" ability during the same encounter.


Soul Resonance (Ex): Starting at 13th level, the Determination character gains the ability to resonate with the essence of other souls, drawing upon their unique powers to enhance their own determination. At 13th, 15th, 17th, and 19th level, the character can choose one ability from any of the other seven souls: Integrity (Blue), Perseverance (Purple), Patience (Cyan), Kindness (Green), Justice (Yellow), Bravery (Orange), and Hate (Black), up to a maximum level of 3. This ability becomes a permanent part of the Determination character's repertoire, reflecting their mastery over various aspects of determination and resilience.

Determination in the Game[edit]

Determination characters serve as resilient frontline fighters and inspirational leaders, both as player characters (PCs) and non-player characters (NPCs). In combat, they excel as tanks, absorbing damage and protecting allies, while outside combat, they provide guidance and offer challenges that test the PCs' resolve.

Adaptation: Adaptation: Variant conceptions of this class could include a fusion with justice, resulting in a vengeance archetype. This hybrid character embodies both determination and a sense of righteousness, seeking retribution against those who wrong others while displaying unwavering resolve in pursuit of justice.
