This spell creates a disc in the palm of your hand. The disc can be moved around by the caster, but is otherwise insubstantial. The caster determines at the time of casting that he wishes to take part in the divination. Otherwise, when two willing creatures touch the disc, the disc divines whether the two creatures are parent and child. If they are, the disc glows bright for a moment and vanishes. If the two are not parent and child, the disc swirls and dims into vapor and is discharged.
Practical Application[edit]
This is a simple magical means of determining to whom a child might be related. It is handy for finding the right heir to the kingdom, and clearing your self of charges brought about by a woman you met last year and now has a child that has your eyes. It is also rarely used to determine if people had a otherwordly parent, such as a Succubus.
