The DBS is a single use device that projects a perfect sphere of tessalating energy screens. It completely blocks small, high velocity mass such as projectiles and particles, but allows slower objects to pass through.

Power: Consumable Minor Action Close burst 1 Effect: Squares in the burst create a zone. Line of effect for ranged, blast or burst attacks cannot be drawn through the perimeter of the zone. The zone lasts until the end of the encounter.
