Deadeye[edit]

Abilities: Dex, Wis, Int.

Hit Die: d6

Class Skills[edit]

Bluff (Cha), Craft (Gunsmithing) (Int), Escape Artist (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Intuition (Wis), Knowledge (culture and geography) (Int), Perception (Wis), Persuasion (Cha), Sleight of Hand (Dex).

Skill Points at each level: 3 + Int modifier.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the deadeye mastery class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A deadeye is proficient with any 3 (non-exotic) firearms, and any 1 exotic or custom firearm. Deadeyes are proficient with light armor.

Pinpoint Accuracy

Deadeyes are very accurate with their shots, but do not fire quickly. A deadeye only has one base attack modifier, but a higher bonus to attack rolls. If a deadeye's attack roll is higher than her target's defense roll by 15 or more, her attack deals double damage.

Once per day, a deadeye can reroll any 1 on a ranged damage roll. The number of times this ability can be used per day increases at 10th level, and every 5 levels thereafter, to a maximum of 4 times per day at 20th level.

Far Shot

The deadeye gains far shot as a feat.

Focused Shot

The deadeye can spend a full round to make a single shot at a target. This single attack gains a +3 to hit, and has a doubled critical range. The bonus to hit is increased to +5 against targets that are denied their dexterity modifier to defense.

Stealth Shot

At 7th level or higher, a deadeye gains a bonus on attack rolls against enemies who are unaware of her presence. The bonus starts at +3 at 7th level, and increases by +1 at 11th level and every 4 levels thereafter, to a maximum of +6 at 19th level.

Firearm Training

At 8th level, a deadeye selects a firearm to specialize with. The deadeye gains weapon focus as a feat with the chosen firearm.

Precise Shot

At 9th level, the deadeye gains precise shot as a feat.

Improved Point Blank Shot

At 10th level, the deadeye increases the bonus from point blank shot to +2 from +1.

Piercing Shot

A deadeye of 11th level or higher is able to shoot through a target to another target directly behind the first within 15 feet. The second target takes half damage.

Suppressive Fire

At 12th level or higher, when withdrawing from melee combat, a deadeye can make an attack of opportunity against the nearest enemy.

Caliber Specialist

At 13th level or higher, when reloading her weapon, a deadeye can choose to use normal, low, or high caliber bullets. Low caliber bullets have 40 feet more range, gain a +3 bonus to hit, and deal 2 less damage. High caliber bullets have 30 feet less range, have a -3 penalty to hit, and deal one and a half times as much damage, or instead increases the multiplier of a successful critical hit by x1.

Firearm Expertise

At 14th level, the deadeye increases the range increment of her specialized weapon by one half.

Improved Piercing Shot

A deadeye of 17th level or higher is able to shoot through a third target, directly behind her second target. The third target from piercing shot takes one quarter damage.

Modern Assassin

A deadeye of 18th level or higher, if she would be granted her stealth shot bonus against a target, a successful hit deals double damage.

Greater Point Blank Shot

At 20th level, the deadeye increases the bonus from point blank shot to +3 from +2.

Weapon Mastery

At 20th level, the deadeye doubles the critical range of her specialized weapon.

Bonus Feats

The epic deadeye gains a bonus feat (selected from the list of epic deadeye feats) every four levels after 20th.
