Dalsethel[edit]

Alignment. Good
Domains. Death, Light
Divine Rank. Greater Deity

Dalsethel has been many things. Murderer. Hero. Necromancer. Thaumaturge. But, at his core, he is a child. Blessed by an entity known as the Giver with power and immortality, but a child, and an undead one at that. He bears the body of an adult with pale skin and bone white hair. Throughout his years, which number in the thousands, he has traveled many planes. On the day he finally found The Giver, he asked one question. "Why? Why have you cursed me with this power?". And The Giver replied: "Because I am old. Fewer and fewer people believe in me every day. I need to be reborn. You are the vessel for that rebirth. Thousands hate you, yet thousands more have flocked to your banner. They believe in you. You are their Giver." This was the turning point in his life. The Giver touched his forehead and turned to dust, travelling into his body. And Dalsethel was no longer a child, but a god.

Realm

Upon becoming a god, Dalsethel created a new world, one of animals that take the shape of humans, and took the form of a wild thing in the woods. He lived this way for 2000 years, until a young rabbit lured him out of hiding, after which he saw how far the creatures he created had come, and joined their society. Very few of them know he is their creator, and he is more than happy to keep it that way.

Family

Dalsethel has a small family, consisting of his father, who is inhabited by the entity that balances out the lives returned by the Giver with more deaths, two children, Taylor and Rolyat, who are detailed under the page 'the twins', and his wife, shay, who has her own page as well. All are at least semi-divine, and are powerful in their own ways.

Symbols

The Giver has two symbols, the eye and the mask. The eye is a solid black teardrop, with a silver dot as a pupil, and the mask is a simple white mask with a black, perfectly semicircular smile.

General rules

Dalsethel's clerics, where they exist, are to follow three rules: help all, regardless of form. Do not harm your ally unless they become your enemy. And, above all, do not murder unless it is necessary.
