Cyborg Traits[edit]
Given advanced enough technology or specifically crafted magic items, a biological being can become something more; something greater. For 1000 gp and 24 hours of rest to acclimate to your new body part, a creature that is not an ooze, construct, or elemental gains access to one of the following:
Part | Effect |
---|---|
Artificial Heart | For every level you have or gain, your maximum hit points increase by 1. If the creature is not a player, their maximum hit points increase by their CR (minimum 1). |
Artificial Tail | You gain a large, arcane/mechanical tail. Objects may be carried and manipulated with it, including fine manipulations. You can hold a weapon or shield using your tail. Due to the increased balance your tail grants you, you are proficient in the Acrobatics skill and Dexterity saving throws to avoid falling prone while you are not holding an object. |
Bionic Eye | You gain 30 ft of dark-vision. If you already had dark-vision, it increases by 30 ft. |
Bionic Arm | When you are hit by a melee attack, you may use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack with your Bionic Arm. This feature is usable a number of times equal to twice the number of Bionic Arms you have, regaining use at the end of a short or long rest. |
Bionic Leg | Your walking speed increases by 5 feet. |
Cybernetic Skin | You gain resistance to non-magical slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage on attacks that beat your AC or saving throws that you fail by 1 or succeed on. For every additional time you gain this modification, the threshold of minimum failure for this to take effect increases by +1. |
Modified Foot | You can hold objects and weapons in your feet as if they were hands. Your movement speed is reduced by 5 ft. for every foot that is holding an object. This can be gained a number of times equal to the number of legs you have. |
Modified Jaw | You can hold objects and weapons in your mouth as it was a hand. While doing so, you can not speak. |
Universal Translator | You learn to hear and speak one language. The voice that speaks in this language is discernible as artificial. |
