Crossbow Sniper (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Crossbow Sniper
Prerequisites: Proficiency with a crossbow
You have learned how to be effective sniping. You gain the following benefits:
- Ignore the loading property of crossbows.
- As an action, you can carefully line up your next shot. The first ranged weapon attack you make on your next turn has advantage and ignores half cover and three-quarters cover. If it hits, it is a critical hit. You lose this benefit if you move or are forced to move before making this attack on your next turn.
- Lying prone and firing from this position doesn't provoke any disadvantage or penalties on your ranged attack rolls.
- You may add 1d8 piercing damage to any ranged attack roll with a crossbow. You may do this a number of times equal to your dexterity modifier. After you have finished a long rest, you regain all expended uses of this feature.
