Level 1[edit]

Chef Time and effort spent mastering the culinary arts has paid off. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain proficiency with cook’s utensils if you don’t already have it.
  • As part of a short rest, you can cook special food, provided you have ingredients and cook's utensils on hand. You can prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food and spends one or more Hit Dice to regain hit points regains an extra 1d8 hit points.
  • With one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, you can cook a number of treats equal to your proficiency bonus. These special treats last 8 hours after being made. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of those treats to gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.

Level 2[edit]

You gain the choice between two feats at level 2.

Butcher
On a critical hit that deals slashing damage, you can make the target make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier or Dexterity modifier). On a failure the enemy suffers a deep cut and takes 1d4 slashing damage at the start of each of their turns as they bleed out. A creature may use their action to make a Wisdom (Medicine) check against the same DC to take care of the deep cut.
Horticulturalist
You add double your proficiency bonus to all checks you make with the Nature skill.

Level 3[edit]

You will always have advantage on foraging rolls.

Level 4[edit]

You can make 20 rations during downtime, or make 5 while adventuring once per short rest.

Level 5[edit]

You will have the choice between two feats at level 5.

Casual Cannibal
As a bonus action you can eat parts of the corpse of a humanoid in 5ft to regain 1d6 of health. If this is done in 20ft of a creature of a same race you can make them roll a constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency bonus if proficient in intimidation + Charisma modifier). On a failure this will instill fear on the target until the end of their next turn.
Hot Potato
You can pass rations to anyone within 30ft as an action, which will heal them for 1d6 hp.

Level 6[edit]

You can 1d10 gourmet rations during downtime, which is worth 5 days of rations. If used with the hot potato feat will heal for 1d10 hp.

Level 7[edit]

You gain a proficiency in the Poisoners kit if you did not already. As an action you can use the poisoners kit to inject a poison of your choice into a target. This will make them do a constitution saving throw (DC=8 + Dexterity modifier + Proficiency bonus) on failure they will suffer the affects of the poison.

Level 8[edit]

You can now brew Molotov Cocktail (5e Equipment) with 1 canister of Chemfuel or any other flammable liquid.

Level 9[edit]

You can now cook 1d20 gourmet rations during downtime.

Level 10[edit]

The butcher feat no longer deals a deep cut, instead removing the limb entirely, which cannot be taken care of unless someone without a medkit.

You are immune to getting diseases by eating bad food.
