The Comfortable Doug race is a friendly and lovable group of creatures that value personal comfort above all else. They make great bards, artisans, and charmers, but are not well suited for adventurers who often find themselves in dangerous and uncomfortable situations.

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age. Comfortable Dougs reach maturity at age 20 and can live up to 120 years.
Alignment. Comfortable Dougs are usually neutral in alignment. They value personal comfort above all else and are unlikely to take sides in conflicts.
Size. Comfortable Dougs are . Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Lazy Bones. As a Comfortable Doug, you have a natural talent for relaxing and avoiding strenuous activity. You have advantage on all saving throws made to resist fatigue or exhaustion. Additionally, you have resistance to cold damage, as you are always wrapped up in cozy blankets.
Comfort Zone. Comfortable Dougs are creatures of comfort and do not like to leave their warm and cozy homes. As a result, you have disadvantage on all Wisdom (Survival) checks made in natural environments, such as forests or the wilderness.
Charming Personality. Comfortable Dougs have a friendly and approachable nature, making them skilled at socializing. You are proficient in the Persuasion skill.
Cozy Homes. Comfortable Dougs are experts at creating warm and comfortable spaces. You have proficiency in the Crafting skill and can create cozy blankets, pillows, and other comfort items.
Quirky Traits. As a Comfortable Doug, you have some unique traits that set you apart from other races. Choose one of the following quirks:
- Blanket Hog: You have a tendency to always hog all of the blankets. You have resistance to fire damage while wrapped in blankets or wearing a onesie.
- Sleeper: You can sleep anywhere, at any time. You are immune to being awoken by normal means and only awaken once you have had a full 8 hours of sleep.
- Snacker: You always have a snack at the ready and are able to pull out a snack at a moment's notice. This snack can be used to bribe or placate those around you.
- Hibernator: You can sleep through entire seasons. During the winter, you go into hibernation and wake up once spring arrives.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
