Combat Expert (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Combat Expert
Calculated strikes and proper form can save you from harm and other combat borne misfortune. You gain the following benefits:
- Once on your turn, you may choose to use the help action in place of a weapon attack made during your turn.
- While you benefit from the dodge action you also have advantage on ability checks and saving throws made to resist being grappled, shoved, and disarmed.
- When you use the dodge action you may select one creature you can see, the creature remains selected until you no longer benefit from the dodge action or select another target. When you are damaged by the selected creature and it is in your melee weapon's reach, you may immediately make an opportunity attack against that creature.
- Before you make an attack with a weapon, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you gain 5 temporary hit points. While you are wielding a shield, you instead gain 10 temporary hit points. These temporary hit points are cumulative with other temporary hit points you gain from this feature, and last until the start of your next turn.
