Wondrous Item, Varies (Requires Attunement)

This coat contains reality-bending magic capable of protecting the user from almost any bodily harm. The most powerful of these coats can make the user a pseudo-immortal.

Immeasurable Layers. The coat of the hollow man has an armor class of 12, and maximum hit points equal to the amount described by its rarity in the table above. Its thick cloth allows it to absorb blows in the place of its wearer; Whenever the wearer would take damage, the coat takes that damage instead. If the coat would be reduced to 0 hit points or fewer, it gets torn to shreds by the attack and is rendered useless.

Repair. Damage suffered by the coat of the hollow man can be repaired by casting the mending spell upon it in conjunction with using cloth. This regenerates 1d10 hit points for every 5 feet of cloth spent.

Manifold Sleeves. Due to the coat of the hollow man blocking any attack that befalls its wearer, the wearer's limbs and head cannot be amputated by any means so long as they continue to wear the coat.
