Cinderace are bipedal lagomorphs. Most of its torso and head, as well as its arms and tail, are white. It has long white ears, the insides of which are yellow. Its eyes, which have red-orange pupils and white irises, have a deep navy pattern below them and yellow eyebrows above them. These eyebrows connect at the nose, which is red-orange, and form a "crown", which connects to the red-orange tuft of hair sticking out from its forehead. It has two whisker-like tufts of white fur on each side of its face. Over each shoulder is a navy patch of fur, which continue down the torso and connect at middle of the chest, creating what resembles a sports tank top. This navy-colored fur is also seen on its lower torso, creating what resembles a belt. The fur on its lower body is colored red-orange and resembles a pair of pants, with yellow pockets and ending in yellow tufts at the knees, with little tufts of fur on the backside of its thighs. Its ankles and feet are colored navy-blue and tipped red-orange at the toes. On the underside of each foot, there are three yellow dots of fur.

Though very rare, some Cinderace exhibit a different fur color. These specimens have gray fur instead of white, orange instead of red, and white instead of navy-blue.

History[edit]

Cinderace, along with their Scorbunny and Raboot young, were first discovered in the fields and forests of Galar.

These tall, football enthusiast rabbits start out as small, white Scorbunnies. These bunnies are almost completely white, save for the tops of their ears and their toes which are orange. They have yellow markings on their faces, right above their nose, and on the soles of their feet that seem to resemble bands. Scorbunnies are very energetic, and can often be seen dashing through fields with small fires trailing behind it. Doing this causes the fire energy in its body to start coursing through its body, allowing it to fight at full power.

Years of dashing about and leg training later, the Scorbunnys fur darkens and becomes thicker. It has grown a whole foot taller, and its ears droop downward, with its mouth, shoulders and arms being covered by red fur, which, combined with the darkened fur on the rest of its body and the tuft of fur in the middle, almost looks a turtleneck sweatshirt. These Scrobunnies, now having developed into Raboots, are more protected from the cold and can use stronger fire abilities thanks to their fur, and, instead of running, choose to practice their footwork by knocking berries from trees and juggling them with their feet. Because they try to avoid using their arms, they are able to retain body heat much more efficiently.

As it continues to grow in both body and skill, the Raboot eventually becomes a Cinderace and gains the ability to launch fireballs at its opponents simply by kicking a pebble at them, which is known as a "Pyro Ball". The way in which it kicks the fireball makes it difficult for its foe to avoid and leaves them scorched. Supposedly, certain Cinderace can be affected by the gmax phenomena and, when exposed to such energy can change its appearance. It looks much the same as it normally does, but its ears grow much longer and can create Pyro Balls as big as 300 feet, which it rides on. The Pyro Ball seems to have a mind of its own and never misses due to supposedly being infused by the Cinderaces fighting spirit, roasting its target upon impact.

Society[edit]

Rare to find in the wild, Cinderace don't have much of a society to speak of. Some individuals believe that the feet of Scorbunnies bring good luck and will sometimes try to hunt them down. Yet, despite this, they'll get along with most any other race that will allow them to live among them, as was the case with a Scorbunny who lived among a mischievous, thieving band of Nickits. If a Cinderace does choose to live in human society, they usually find jobs coaching football teams for children and adults alike, though whether or not the sport was based on the behaviors of Cinderace are lost to time.
