Warforged Variant[edit]

Some models of warforged were made with a sleek material that was like chrome on steroids. They were deployed not only as blinding innovation, but also to serve as shining members in advertising industries. When wartimes came, these chroman warforged were used to communicate special messages using the light refracting off their bodies. Their reflectiveness could be amplified when in danger to dazzle attackers.

This race variant replaces the integrated protection and specialized design traits. You instead gain the dazzling sheen and popular design traits.

Dazzling Sheen. Your body has built-in defensive layers as well as some flashy gimmicks.

  • You gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class.
  • As a bonus action, you can emit a flash of light that is amplified with your reflective body while you are in bright light. All creatures within 20 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC of 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a failed save, they are blinded until the end of their next turn. You must finish a short or long rest before using this trait again.

Popular Design. You are a well-known model that has garnered favor with the public. You are proficient with one Charisma skill of your choice.
