Chicken Pox (3.5e Disease)

From D&D Wiki

Name: Chicken Pox (Ex)
Infection DC: 12 (Contact, Inhalation)
Incubation: 1-2 weeks
Damage: Nauseated, possibly confused or Shingles

Everyone should have had this at one point, but in medieval times it wasn't uncommon to see some people go without catching chicken pox (for lack of exposure). Chicken pox causes blisters to appear over the body, fever and itching (from blisters). It may lead to shingles.

If the PC fails the check by more than 5 points, s/he becomes confused (itching instead of the variants of useless action).

If the PC fails the check by more than 10 points, s/he may be targeted for contracting shingles, without a save to overcome, at some time in the future. Shingles are non-fatal and only cause confusion (itching again), and will heal on their own given time.
