Charlatan's Shield (5e Equipment)

Armor (shield), uncommon (requires attunement) A glamered shield designed to protect tricksters and frauds when they get in over their head. The shield—an escutcheon-shaped heater bearing a laughing goblin face as its crest in its natural form—is glamered, allowing you to alter its apperance at will as a bonus action. It can appear as any standard type of shield with any sort of decoration or heraldry you can imagine, and it can even appear as an iron gauntlet or a leather bracer while still functioning as a shield. Additionally, and arguably more importantly, you gain advantage on any Constitution saving throws made to maintain concentration while wielding this shield. One cannot have their magical disguise faltering when the jig is up, after all! |
