Chaos sanguines are the more populous and less sensible branch of the sanguines, a race of blood elementals native to the Faakh'el empire in southern Aletae. The chaos sanguines are stronger physically and magically, but lack the refined minds of their brethren, the orthodox sanguines, and consequently tend to end up subservient to them. In a battle, chaos sanguines are reckless to a fault, as they can fully heal themselves quickly and painlessly. When organized by an orthodox sanguine, chaos sanguines virtually uniformly fight with unwavering loyalty towards their lofty goals, generally towards reforming their once grand empire. On their own, however, chaos sanguines generally maraud across the steppe of the once great Faakh'el, only visiting the cities to pillage. |
