Cantrip Amplifier (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Cantrip Amplifier
Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell
You have specialized in the execution of cantrips, making you a deadly arcane opponent on the battlefield. You gain the following benefits:
- When you cast a cantrip that forces a creature to make a saving throw, you can amplify it. When you do so, your target have Disadvantage on the saving throw against the cantrip, and on a success it takes half damage, rather than no damage. You can amplify a cantrip a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining uses after a short or long rest.
- You learn one cantrip that requires a target to make a saving throw. Choose the cantrip from the bard, cleric, druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list. Your spellcasting ability for this cantrip depends on the spell list you chose from: Charisma for bard, sorcerer, or warlock; Wisdom for cleric or druid; or Intelligence for wizard.
