Campaign Information[edit]

Playing a Bravery Soul[edit]

Religion: Bravery Souls often venerate deities associated with courage, valor, and protection. They may also pay homage to gods of war and justice.

Other Classes: Bravery Souls typically respect martial classes for their combat prowess and dedication to training. They often form strong bonds with Paladins and Fighters who share their ideals of honor and bravery. They may clash with more stealth-oriented classes like Rogues, finding their methods of subterfuge and deception antithetical to their straightforward approach.

Combat: In combat, Bravery Souls excel as frontline warriors, fearlessly engaging enemies and protecting their allies. They can charge into the fray without hesitation, bolstered by their courage and determination. Their presence on the battlefield inspires allies and strikes fear into the hearts of foes.

Advancement: Bravery Souls often focus on improving their combat abilities through feats and additional class levels. Multiclassing with Fighter or Paladin can enhance their martial prowess, while taking levels in Bard or Warlock can complement their charismatic leadership abilities.

Bravery Souls in the World[edit]

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.

Daily Life: A typical day for a Bravery Soul involves training to hone their combat skills, standing up against injustice, and inspiring others with their fearless demeanor. They may also undertake quests or missions that require them to confront dangerous adversaries and protect the innocent.

Notables: Notable Bravery Souls may include legendary warriors who have achieved fame and renown for their heroic deeds. They might serve as leaders of noble orders dedicated to upholding justice and defending the weak.

Organizations: Bravery Souls may congregate in knightly orders, military units, or adventuring parties where their courage and martial prowess are valued. They may also form alliances with other like-minded individuals to tackle challenges that require a united front.

NPC Reactions: NPCs generally regard Bravery Souls with respect and admiration, viewing them as symbols of courage and heroism. They may seek their aid in times of trouble or look to them for guidance and leadership in times of crisis.

Bravery Soul Lore[edit]

Characters with ranks in History or Religion can research Bravery Souls to learn more about them. When making a skill check, they may uncover the following information:

Bravery Souls in the Game[edit]

Bravery Souls serve as frontline warriors and inspirational leaders in both player and non-player roles. They fill the role of the fearless protector, leading by example and rallying their allies to victory.

Adaptation: Variant conceptions of the Bravery Soul could include specialized archetypes focused on specific aspects of courage, such as a Paladin-like subclass devoted to the protection of the innocent or a Warlock pact that draws power from the souls of fallen heroes.

Sample Encounter: A group of adventurers seeking to overthrow a tyrannical ruler encounters a Bravery Soul leading a band of rebels against the oppressive regime. The encounter might involve negotiating an alliance with the Bravery Soul or assisting them in their quest for justice.

EL X: The encounter scenario involves the party coming across the Bravery Soul leading a daring raid on a heavily guarded fortress. The CR of the Bravery Soul and their accompanying allies should match the party's level for a challenging encounter.
