Saving Throws Str +7, Dex +13, Int +8, Wis +7, Cha +9 Assassinate. During her first turn, Bovrafne has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn . Any hit Bovrafne scores against a surprised creature is a critical hit. Evasion. If Bovrafne is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, the assassin instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails. Sneak Attack (1/Turn). Bovrafne deals an extra 13 (4d6) damage when it hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of the assassin that is n't incapacitated and the assassin doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll. Magic of DeathBovrafne's spellcasting ability is Int (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks) and can cast Spare the Dying and Animate Dead at will and Vampiric Touch once per long or short rest Dark Blessing. Bovrafne can speak to fiends and undead as if she can speak their languages Unholy Pact. Bovrafne's spellcasting ability is Cha (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). She has the following spells prepared: 1st level (4 slots)Life Fades (5e Spell), Frostwave, Dissonant Whispers, Ray of Sickness 2nd level (3 slots)Blood Boiling (5e Spell), Flame Spiral (5e Spell), 3rd level (3 slots)Fireball, Darkness, Slashing Darkness (5e Spell), Fear, Pass Without Trace, Haste, Phantom Steed 4th level (3 slots)Blight, Polymorph, Blight, Agonizing Smite (5e Spell) 5th level (1 slot)Contagion, Hallow, Contagion, Darkbolt (5e Spell) Phantoms Weapon. Bovrafne gains the following benefit with her shortsword.
Soul Harvest Bovrafne can tap into the unholy magic fuelling within her. This well within you is formed by the souls you have harvested over the years. She can never have more than 18 Souls. As an action, she can gain a soul by stabbing and holding your phantom weapon in a slain creature for 1 minute which then the weapon will absorb for you. She cannot absorb the soul of fiends, constructs and undead, creatures that are 2 sizes or more than her, or from a body where the soul has already left. Once a soul is expended the soul is set free. She can use these souls to regain expended spell slots. she can do this as a bonus action on your turn. The Soul Exchange table shows the costs of creating a spell slot at a given level. You can create spell slots no higher in level than 5th. 1st slot – 2 souls 2nd slot – 3 souls 3rd slot – 4 souls 4th slot – 5 souls 5th slot – 6 souls Aura of Despair. Bovrafne releases an aura around her making those close to you her despair. All non-friendly creatures within 15 feet of her have disadvantage on saving throws and when frightened, the effect lasts twice as long. Foul Tactics. Bovrafne exploit a foe’s distraction and land honourless hits. Once per turn, she can deal an extra 5d6 damage on a creature you hit with an attack if she have advantage on the attack roll. The weapon cannot be heavy or two-handed.She don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it and that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and she don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll. Auxiliary Attacks. Bovrafne can attack thrice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action with a weapon on her turn or she can cast a spell and attack as a bonus action. Dark Minion. Bovrafne can expend souls to summon a fiend, which appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of her. The summoned fiends challenge rating must be equal to or less than half the amount of souls she has expended to sommon it. There can only be one fiend summoned at one time and the fiend disappears when it drops to 0 hit points. The fiend is obedient to you at all times. In combat it rolls its own initiative. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue it. If she don’t issue any commands to the fiend, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions. She can summon up to two fiends. Soul Eat. When Bovrafne is within 10 feet of a dead creature and it's her turn, she can spend one round absorbing the soul of a creature by sucking its soul into her mouth instead of using her weapon. She must hold concentration for that entire round for this to work. Night Walk. When Bovrafne is in dim light or darkness, she can use a bonus action to teleport to an unoccupied space she can see that is also in dim light or darkness within 60 feet of her. She then has advantage on your first attack she makes before the end of the turn. Phantom Eye. Bovrafne can see in normal and magical darkness as if it where bright light, as well as sense the life force of creatures within 30 feet of her. Furthermore she can see into the ethereal plane up to 30 feet. Serve to Die.(Once per Day) Bovrafne can spend 5 souls to recreate the effects of the Finger of Death. Devour. Bovrafne can try to absorb the life force from those around her. As an action she can draw on her grim power to draw the life forces out of creatures within 30 feet of her. Each creature of her choice within 30 feet must succeed on a DC15 Constitution saving throw, and take 12d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save. Every creature killed by this feature regains her expended souls as if they had their souls absorbed by her. ACTIONSMultiattack. Bovrafne makes two shortsword attacks. Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (1d6 + 6) piercing damage, 3 ,and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Light Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 80/320 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 6) piercing damage, 3 necrotic, and the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
