Boros (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
Boros[edit]
A race of super-strong aliens with extreme regeneration powers, and very powerful energy-related ablilities.
Physical Description[edit]
A Boros illustrated by ONE. |
The Boros are aliens that have one eye on their face, and another on their chest. They have a sort of vessel that allows the transfer of energy almost like veins/arteries and look like lightning bolts. Their hair is usually a bright color and seems to change with the amount of energy the Boros is using. They also have elf-like pointy ears, but other than that, they look like normal humanoids.
History[edit]
The Boros race was supposedly destroyed by one of their kind who became too powerful and was able to best all of them in combat. Therefore, not much is known about their history.
Society[edit]
Boros usually see themselves as equal with other races, unless they have bested their finest warrior in combat. They developed the greatest regenerative ability in the entire universe to adapt to living on their home planet, which was shown to be covered in lava. Boros love to fight and will travel the universe to meet their equals. Because of their powers, Boros are extremely arrogant and prideful. But they do show extreme respect to anyone who can best them in combat or manages to survive an unusual amount of time in a bout with them. They find excitement in fighting with their equals and will be at peace with their deaths if defeated by a valiant warrior. In battle, they were shown to have a very cautious and serious behavior, attempting to end fights quickly and make sure their opponent doesn't have any chance to surprise them. Boros are also known to have heavy cultural beliefs in seers.
Boros Names[edit]
There is no known naming system for the Boros. They seem to be named based on their hierarchy, and achievements. Ex: Lord, Dominator of The Universe.
(To be honest, that's very vague, so just give your Boros a space-related name, such as; Sagittarius, Titan, and other things like that. Just be creative with the names, because there really isn't much evidence of their existence, so not really any names to go off of.)
