Boon of the Soul Devourer (5e Epic Boon)
From D&D Wiki
Boon of the Soul Devourer[edit]
You have become a Devourer, a creature that consumes the souls of others for power and immortality. Your creature type becomes fiend (devourer).
In addition, whenever you reduce a creature to zero hit points that isn’t an undead or construct, you consume its soul. Whenever you consume a soul, you gain temporary hit points equal to the creature's CR (minimum of 0). While you have these temporary hit points, you gain the creature's memories, languages, proficiencies, spells prepared (if you are able to cast them), and any abilities that aren't restricted to the creature physical abilities. When you complete a short rest, you lose those abilities.
A devoured creature can't be brought back to life with nothing lesser than a true resurrection or a wish spell.
