Boon of the Bold (5e Epic Boon)
From D&D Wiki
Boon of the Bold[edit]
Countless battles against bigger and stronger enemies have taught you the importance of leverage, shown you how to maximize the impact of an attack, and calloused you against damage and fatigue.
- Without changing your actual size, you gain the benefits of the enlarge/reduce spell on yourself (enlarge only): You can Grapple or Shove creatures one size larger than normal (e.g. at Medium size you can Grapple or Shove a creature that is Huge, as though you were Large), you have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws, and your weapon attacks deal 1d4 extra damage. Alternatively for speed and simplicity, you may increase your weapon damage die by a comparable amount (1d4=1d8, 1d6=1d10, 1d8=1d12, 1d10=2d6, 1d12=2d8, 2d6=2d8)
- Additionally, your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to your current level, and whenever you gain a level thereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional hit point.
- Finally, during a short rest when you roll a 1 on a hit die to regain hit points, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1.
