Blood of Avernus (5e Feat)

This feat is a part of my tiefling feat collection, which are akin to Flames of Phlegethos, but based on the other layers of Baator. The others are: Fortitude of Dis (5e Feat)


Blood of Avernus

Prerequisites: Tiefling
You learn to call on gore to serve your commands. You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Strength or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • When you make an weapon attack, you may choose to roll an additional d20. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll. Once you do so, you can't do so again until you complete a long rest.
  • When you score a critical hit with a weapon attack roll, you can cause your weapon to erupt with blood. Creatures of your choice within 15ft. of the weapon must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (the DC equals 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus) or take 2d6 bludgeoning damage. Creatures take half damage on a successful saving throw.
