Blood Witch[edit]

Blood Witch are rather difficult to find. In the process of becoming a blood witch, it's less mastering one type of magic, but more mastering all of them. While attempting to master them, Blood Witch's bodies take countless hits in order to even have enough blood to be able to cast those spells.

Making a Blood Witch[edit]

Casting spells is a particular strong suit of a blood witch. As they level up, they gain more experience and less blood is needed to cast lower level spells. But the less experienced, the more blood needed. Physical fighting on the other hand, is a particularly tricky thing to be able to do.

Abilities: Intelligence and Wisdom are the most important abilities for a Blood Witch. Strength is the least required skill.

1st—[edit]

Bloodline Casting[edit]

Everybody has some sort of bloodline. When starting to learn blood witchcraft, they can only access their own bloodlines and their own blood. At 1st level Blood Witch's gain the ability to be able to cast spells using their own blood.

Eschew Materials[edit]

You can cast many spells without needing to utilize minor material components. You can cast any spell with a material component costing 1 gp or less without needing that component. The casting of the spell still provokes attacks of opportunity as normal. If the spell requires a material component that costs more than 1 gp, you must have the material component on hand to cast the spell, as normal.

2nd—[edit]

Animal Companion[edit]

At 2nd level, the blood Witch gains an animal companion that they can alter and decide how they look. The Animal' companion functions the same as a druids animal companion, it's abilities depending on the Blood Witch's level. However, unlike normal Animal Companions, they can be summoned and unsummoned at will with no materials other than 1d6 blood needed.

3rd—[edit]

Additional Feat[edit]

At 3rd level, a Blood Witch may take on additional Feat.

=Monster Lore[edit]

The Blood Witch adds their Wisdom modifier on Knowledge skill checks in addition to their Intelligence modifier, when making a skill check to identify the abilities and weaknesses of creatures.

4th—[edit]

Blood Leech[edit]

At 4th level, the Blood witch has now become so comfortable using blood from themselves, they're able to branch out to use others' blood. While they cannot draw blood from others' bodies as they can their own if someone is actively bleeding the Blood Witch can use that blood in order to cast their spells. They are also able to use dead creatures to do the same thing. If they don't have enough blood to be able to cast their spells from that, they can substitute what they're missing from their own blood.

5th—[edit]

Blood Mastery[edit]

At 5th level the Blood witch achieves the first part of Blood Mastery. Doing so allows the Blood Witch to need less blood in order to cast spells. This effectively cuts the cost of spells in half. At level 10 the Blood witch gains the second level of Blood mastery, the cost for their spells being cut down an additional half. At level 15, the blood witch gains the final level of Blood Mastery, they are then able to cast their spells from only blood, not needing any other components no matter the spell.

6th—[edit]

Additional Feat[edit]

At 6th level, a Blood Witch may take on additional Feat.

8th—[edit]

Blood Healing[edit]

At 8th level, healing spells no longer cost the Blood Witch any blood to be able to cast. If a blood Witch uses blood to be able to cast a healing spell, then the amount of healing their spell does doubles.

10th—[edit]

At 10th level, a Blood Witch may take an additional Feat.

15th—[edit]
