Defending, regenerating killers. Generally, as they await whatever onslaught they have been designated to weather, they buff themselves, and just beforehand they manifest Vampiric Blade. Then, as they meet the front lines, they begin smashing away with their absurdly large Fullblades. This leaves them with 21 power points, which they use for Hostile Empathic Transfer (usually, once augmented only for area, then throughout the battle augmented as needed to take down strong enemies while healing themselves). Each round, they heal on average 51 damage, and can fully heal with the area burst version of Hostile Empathic Transfer (and often nearly full heal with a powerfully augmented version). If swarmed, their preferred tactic is Whirlwind Attack, and if faced with tough enemies, they generally activate the rune of Wraithstrike on their grip and bash away. Nothing survives. Often, they are charged with assassinating strong enemies such as Doomblades, in which case they Dimension Slide nearby before beating on them.

These are the front-line Blood Psions, tanking damage in the front lines and protecting elites. They are the lowest level that are still capable of an area-augmented Hostile Empathic Transfer, and make good use of it. They try their best to protect whatever they are assigned to, keeping people at bay with their Warpike and switching to their Waraxe if necessary. Generally they'll just Empathic Transfer anyone who gets to close though.

These lower-ranking Blood Psions are used en-masse to defend fortifications and large transports, soaking up damage and dishing out quite a bit on their own. They often swarm higher-level, huge enemies, taking them down by having several move into attacking range and then draining away their life. They often have to use their Psicrystals as reserves for damage.

Acts both as ranged damage and as melee tanking/damage, shooting Greater Psionic Shots when far away and then blating Hostile Empathic Transfer, Overchanneled, every round once close enough. Used as general guards.
