These bipedal, humanoid avians have a body that is covered mostly by red feathers, with yellow feathers along the lower parts of its leg, along with a patch on its chest, and beige feathers covering part of its chest and head, with two protrusions extending downward from behind its head almost resembling wings. Its face possesses a V-shaped crest on the forehead, semicircular eyes with a blue iris and yellow sclera, and a small beak. Females tend to have shorter V-shaped crests and wing-like protrusions than the males. It has featherless gray hands that end in three clawed digits, and it's feet, which are not normally visible due to being covered by it's shaggy, yellow leg feathers, end in three taloned toes.

Other colorations are said to have been observed, such as specimens having darker colored feathers, but also having white feathers on the chest and head instead of beige. Rumor has it one Blaziken had blue feathers instead of red and was an incredible fighter.

History[edit]

Blazikens, though rare, were first discovered near the forests by Mt. Chimney, a volcano on the tropical island of Hoenn.

Society[edit]

Solitary and aggressive by nature, Blazikens spend their day's training in martial arts that mostly involve kicking, mixing their innate fire abilities with the attacks. It is said that their legs can become so strong that they can leap over buildings 30 stories tall.
