Blaze Blades

Prerequisites: Ability to cast Flame Blade
Know what’s better than one sword made of fire? Two swords made of fire!

  • You do not need a spellcasting focus to cast Flame Blade.
  • Flame Blade now summons 2 fiery blades in both your hands. Wielding both counts as two-weapon fighting.
  • If you are proficient with scimitars, add your proficiency bonus to all melee spell attack rolls with Flame Blades.
  • Gain advantage on concentration saving throws while Flame Blade is active. If you fail a concentration saving throw while Flame Blade is active, you may use your reaction to deal 2d12 damage to an enemy within 5ft before the blades disappear. When you cast Flame Blade using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for every two slot levels above 2nd.
  • If you let go of a Flame Blade, it will persist for up to 1 minute. You may call it back to you as a bonus action. It will deal 1d6 Fire damage to all creatures between the drop location and you. When you cast Flame Blade using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for every two slot levels above 2nd.
