Blade of Ambition (5e Equipment)

Weapon (special), rare (requires attunement) A simple, but rather elegant hilt, blending the many styles of many smiths. Not quite a basket-guard, nor a two handed grip, but a mashup of everything inbetween. However, when gripped by an attuned creature, a blade of pure energy launches from it, based purely on the wielders beliefs. You have a +1 to attack and damage rolls with this weapon. You cannot use this weapon if you are not attuned, but if you are, the weapon type and damage changes. If you are lawful, it is a longsword. If you are chaotic, it is a dagger. If you are neither, it is a rapier. If you are good, it deals 1d8 extra radiant damage. If you are evil, it does 1d8 extra necrotic damage. If you are neither, it deals 1d8 extra force damage.
