As a clan of ruthless mercenaries, the Black Dragon became even more dangerous when they learned of the existence of Outworld and the other realms. This unfortunate event caused the Black Dragon to greatly expand their influence, becoming a threat not only to Earthrealm, but to the other realms as well. Swordmaster. Swordmaster's are among the many mercenaries working within the Black Dragon Criminal Syndicate, with individuals such as Tasia rising through the ranks all the way up to becoming the personal apprentice of Kano himself, solely based of her skill with the blade and her ironlike determination. Kano's Apprentice. As Kano's apprentice, the swordmaster Tasia also came to master Kano's unconventional fighting style, gaining the ability to retaliate against opponents while remaining in a protective, curled stance that enhanced her defences.
