Standing Leap. The crime lord's long jump is up to 20 feet and its high jump is up to 10 feet, with or without a running start.

Front Flip Charge. If the crime lord moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 10 (3d6) bludgeoning damage.

Combat Curl Up. After the crime lord uses the Dodge action, until the start of its next turn it cannot be reduced below 1 hit point by an attack, unless the attack deals at least 8 damage in one hit. It loses this benefit early if it takes any other action except moving or retaliating with its slam attack.

ACTIONS

Throwing Knife. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Laser Beam (Recharge 5-6). The crime lord unleashes a laser beam from their 8ucybernetic eye, producing an incinerating stream in a 25-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 19 (3d12) fire damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.

BONUS ACTIONS

Cunning Action. The crime lord takes the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.

Scorching Glare (2/Day). The crime lord adds 1d12 to its next damage roll with its Laser Beam, and if a creature fails its saving throw, it is also stunned.

REACTIONS

Front Flip Slam (3/Day). When the crime lord takes less than 8 damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of it while in its combat curl up, it can make a slam attack against that creature.

Kano.jpg

As leader of the Black Dragon criminal syndicate, Kano is a dangerous man and capable combatant.

Weapons Trading. The Black Dragon is known for trading firearms, often using the sale of weapons to manipulate groups into conflict with one another, after which the Black Dragon seizes control of the now vulnerable area.

Cybernetic Enhancements. The Black Dragon often have access to advanced or exotic technology, usually stolen by Black Dragon mercenaries themselves. Among the various skeletal enhancements that make Black Dragon mercenaries particularly resilient, a common modification possessed by the mercenaries is a cybernetic eye, which can produce a scorching laser to fell their enemies.
