Black Dragon Crime Lord, Jarek Variant[edit]
Medium humanoid (human), chaotic evil Armor Class 13
Skills Perception +8, Stealth +7 Trampling Charge. If the crime lord moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and hits it with a stomp attack on the same turn, the target must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the crime lord can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action. ACTIONSGreataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d12 + 3) slashing damage. Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) bludgeoning damage. Combat Rope. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it must succeed on a Strength contest against the crime lord or be pulled up to 10 feet toward the crime lord. Laser Burst (3/Day). The crime lord unleashes a laser beam from their cybernetic eye, producing an incinerating stream in a 25-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 26 (4d12) fire damage and become stunnedon a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one and not be stunned. BONUS ACTIONSCunning Action. The crime lord takes the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action. REACTIONSDesperate Cling. When a creature within 5 feet of the crime lord makes an attack, the crime lord attempts to grapple them. This is Brutality! (1/Day). When the crime lord drops to 0 hit points, it takes a turn immediately before falling unconscious. |
