Prerequisites: Deep Gnome, Proficiency with Mason’s Tools
You’re well versed in the underground cities of the svirfneblin and hope to one day add your own practical contributions to your people’s survival.

  • Gain advantage on History skill checks regarding underground architecture.
  • Gain advantage on Perception skill checks regarding stonework.
  • You have advantage while attacking earth elementals within 5ft of you.
  • Using Mason’s Tools, you can turn 5ft^2 area of rocky ground into difficult terrain in 1 minute.
  • Using Mason’s Tools, you can carve handholds in a 5ft^2 natural rockface to make it easier to climb in 2 minutes. Reduces the DC of any climbing Athletics check by 5 and increases climbing speed by 5ft. You must climb the surface without such aids to carve the handholds.
  • Using Mason’s Tools, you can reduce a 5ft^3 cube of natural stone to rubble in 5 minutes. Unless the rubble is cleared the ground is difficult terrain.
  • Using Mason’s Tools, you can make a stone sculpture of any creature that will be visually indistinguishable from the real thing in dim light or darkness. The time and stone required depends on the creature’s size.
