Bearnaur[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Bearnaurs are six-limbed monstrosities. They have the body of a bear, but where a head would normally be, the body continues vertically into a humanoid torso from the hips, with a pair of fully developed arms. Their facial and upper torso features are those of a human.

Bearnaurs are born in much the same way as a bear, and their bodies mature rapidly. They reach physical maturity by the age of three, but are considered to be "adults" only after proving themselves.

Bearnaurs grow thick, coarse hair starting at the top of the head and running down their spine to the base of their upper torso.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]

Bearnaurs are usually solitary, territorial creatures, entering society only when they absolutely need to, such as when their lands are being threatened by a powerful being and they need help dealing with it. Those that do enter society on a regular basis have been struck by wanderlust, just passing through, trading goods, or have decided to see how the rest of the world lives.

Bearnaur Names[edit]

Bearnaurs do not hold to any traditional naming conventions and, therefore, their names are always different. There are no typical names for members of the race.

Age. Bearnaurs experience rapid maturity, reaching physical maturity at age 3 and living to about 200 years.
