Class Features:[edit]

Bardic Music: A Battle Herald adds up her herald class levels and her bard class levels to determine the number of times per day she can use her bardic music per day and the power of her Inspire Courage ability.

Battle Hymn (Su): At first level and every two levels thereafter (3rd, 5th, 7th and so on) the Battle Herald can learn a new Battle Hymn effect to add to her Inspire Courage ability while on combat only. The Battle Herald can normally only use one extra effect at the same time, and it only affects she and those of her allies within 30 feet of her who can hear her for the duration of combat and 5 rounds afterwards, 5 rounds after the Battle Herald stops singing, 5 rounds after the allies leave the 30 feet radius area from the Battle Herald, or 5 rounds after they become unable to hear the Battle Herald sing, whichever happens first. Notice that some Battle Hymn effects have requirements the Battle Herald must fulfil before learning to add said effect to her Inspire Courage ability.

Soul of Flame: The weapons the Battle Herald and her allies within 30 feet hold in their hands gain the flaming special ability, bestowing this effect upon their ammunition, if any, and gaining the burst ability if the Battle Herald knows three or more different Battle Hymn effects.

Soul of Thunder: The weapons the Battle Herald and her allies within 30 feet hold in their hands gain the thundering special ability, bestowing this effect upon their ammunition, if any, and gaining the burst ability if the Battle Herald knows three or more different Battle Hymn effects.

Soul of Storm: The weapons the Battle Herald and her allies within 30 feet hold in their hands gain the shock special ability, bestowing this effect upon their ammunition, if any, and gaining the burst ability if the Battle Herald knows three or more different Battle Hymn effects.

Soul of Wrath: The weapons the Battle Herald and her allies within 30 feet hold in their hands gain the frost special ability, bestowing this effect upon their ammunition, if any, and gaining the burst ability if the Battle Herald knows three or more different Battle Hymn effects.

Epic Lyrics: The Battle Herald can use up to two different Battle Hymn effects with the same use of the Inspire Courage ability.

Battle Hymn of the Sith: Both the Battle Herald and all allies that are both within 30 feet of the Battle Herald and able to hear her sing gain fast healing 1, plus an extra point of fast healing for every different Battle Hymn effect the Battle Herald learns after this one. The Battle Herald needs at least 14 ranks in perform (sing) to learn this Battle Hymn effect.

Soul of Steel: Both the Battle Herald and all allies that are both within 30 feet of the Battle Herald and able to hear her sing gain DR 2/- plus DR 1/- each time the Battle Herald learns a new Battle Hymn effect after this one. The Battle Herald must have at least 14 ranks in perform (sing) to learn this Battle Hymn effect.

Battle lust: Both the Battle Herald and all allies that are both within 30 feet of the Battle Herald and able to hear her sing gain +5 to speed for every different Battle Hymn effect the Battle Herald knows, and an extra attack at their highest attack bonus whenever they take the full attack action. The Battle Herald must have at least 16 ranks in perform (sing) to learn this Battle Hymn effect.

Song of disruption: Any creature that can hear the Battle herald sing must make a concentration check opposed by the Battle Herald perform check in order to cast a spell. If the Concentration check fails, the spell is spent and has no effect. If the Concentration effect succeeds, the spell is cast as normal. The Song of disruption effect is a mind affecting ability. The Battle Herald must have at least 19 ranks in perform (sing) to learn this Battle Hymn effect.

Sound of Battle (Su): On any round when a Battle Herald is using her Inspire Courage ability along with one or more of her Battle Hymn effects, she can also include a secondary effect called a refrain. Using a refrain is a swift action that does not provokes an attack of opportunity. The original effect of the Inspire Courage ability and its Battle Hymn effect continue, but she must expend another daily use of bardic music to use the refrain.

Initially the Battle Herald can only use a refrain as a touch attack, but every time she gains a new Sound of Battle ability, she learns a different way to project the refrain effect. A 60 feet long line at 4th level, a 60 feet long cone at 6th, a 30 feet radius burst up to 60 feet away at 8th level and a ray up to 60 feet away at 10th level, which requires a ranged touch attack.

When she uses the refrain, the Battle Herald can make a Perform check to heal the affected creatures of an amount of hit point damage equal to the check result (up to the creature´s full normal hit points total). If the Battle Herald uses anything else than the touch or ray effect to use her refrain this way, she cannot choose which creatures to affect.

When she uses the refrain, the Battle Herald can make a Perform check to send forth a blast of sonic energy that deals a damage equal to the check result. If the Battle Herald uses anything else than the touch or ray effect to use her refrain this way, she cannot choose which creatures to affect.

Heroic Tune (Ex): The Battle Herald can use her Battle Hymn and Sound of Battle abilities outside of combat, and affect her allies accordingly, also, the effects no longer end 5 rounds after the end of combat and the reach of her Battle Hymn effects now affect all those of her allies who are within 60 feet of her.
