Banuk Shaman (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Banuk Shaman[edit]
Fighter Subclass
Banuk Shamans are in charge of leading hunts against machines in Ban-Ur, as well as performing rituals for their weraks. They are the Banuk's only channel to the Blue Light, devoting their lives to serving it and their respective weraks.
- Ritual Leader
As part of your Shaman training, you have learned to perform sacred Banuk rites and draw cool pictures. Gain proficiency with painter's tools and proficiency in Performance, or expertise in it if you already have proficiency in Performance.
- Blessing of the Blue Light
Also at 3rd level, as an action, you can call out to the machine spirits to tame one construct of CR equal to or lower than half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down). It is considered charmed by you. While charmed in this way, the target doesn't attack or do anything that would have an adverse effect on any intelligent being, but will attempt to defend itself. Targets stay charmed a number of days equal to your Wisdom modifier. You may use this feature once every long rest.
- The Machines' Song
At 7th level, you have learned to interpret the calls of machines. By spending 5 minutes observing a construct, you can determine what its function is, whether it's in need of repair, and whether it is hostile to you or any other creature. You can also determine any resistances, immunities, and vulnerabilities it has.
- Survivor
Starting at 10th level, you have honed both your endurance and your survival instincts. You now have advantage on all attempts made to resist the effects of extreme cold and all Survival skill checks, and you cannot be frightened by nonmagical means.
- Resist the Corruption
At 15th level, you have had to deal extensively with the Daemon's corrupting influence and have learned how to defend against it. You and any constructs you have tamed have resistance to poison and acid damage.
- Banuk Weapon Mastery
Beginning at 18th level, you have further developed your senses and your ability to hit your targets' weak points when using your favored weapons. You now add your Wisdom modifier to the attack and damage rolls you make with shortbows, longbows, spears, halberds, and glaives.
