Blazing Body. A creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the taurus takes 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Blunting Flames. The taurus reduces any bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage taken from nonmagical attacks by 5 to a minimum of 0.

Fuelled By Fire. Whenever the taurus is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and instead regains a number of hit points equal to the fire damage dealt.

Trampling Charge. If the taurus moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the taurus can make one attack with its hooves against it as a bonus action.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The taurus makes two melee attacks, one with its gore and one with its hooves.

Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (1d12 + 6) piercing damage and 5 (1d10) fire damage

Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (1d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage and 5 (1d10) fire damage.

Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The taurus exhales fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The bale taurus, or great taurus, is a big and terrifying monster with the body of a massive red bull and membranous wings like a dragon. The creature burns with terrific intensity, so that its whole body is wreathed in fire and smoke. Indeed, so angrily and so hot does the bale taurus' skin burn, that swords and axes become molten and blunt in the very process of striking it. When it moves across the ground sparks fly from its hooves and lightning plays about its feet. It breathes fire in great snorting bursts and black smoke curls from its gaping maw.
These bovine monsters are often stabled in great pens by the duergar. Only the most powerful duergar manage to tame them and ride them into battle.
