Axe Thrower

Prerequisites: Proficiency with Handaxes
You’ve lodged enough blades in trees to be confident they aren’t going to ricochet into your head.

  • Handaxes’ throwing range is increased to 60/120
  • After you deal damage to an enemy with a handaxe thrown at normal range, you may immediately draw and throw a handaxe on your person at the same target as a bonus action. This extra attack has disadvantage.
  • After you score a critical hit with a handaxe thrown at normal range, you may immediately draw and throw a handaxe on your person at the same target as a bonus action.
  • After you score a critical hit with a handaxe thrown at long range, you may immediately draw and throw 2 handaxes on your person at the same target as a bonus action.
  • Thrown handaxe critical strikes reduce the AC of plant creatures by 1 for 1 minute.
  • If you miss while throwing a handaxe, make a Dexterity saving throw with DC equal to your attack roll. If you roll higher, the axe bounces back and you catch in the same hand you threw it with. Does not occur on a critical miss.
